1) Besiege (verb)
Synonyms: beleaguer - beset - surround - invest - encircle   

Meaning: to make more requests, offers, comments, or complaints than someone can deal with

Sentence: The management of Amanath Coop. bank Ltd., has been besieged by anxious depositors who want their money back.
2) Ostensibly (adverb)
Synonyms:  seemingly - apparently   

Meaning: used for saying that although someone pretends to have one reason for something, there is in fact another reason   

Sentence: Even before the 12 member board could meet, he succeeded in diverting the media's attention on him as he hopped from the residence of one senior leader to another, ostensibly for informal interaction.
3) Lackadaisical (adjective)
Synonyms:  listless - apathetic - languid - apathetical   

Meaning: lacking enthusiasm and determination; carelessly lazy
